The Heartstringers is a formal roster artist. The songbook remains RT Wright’s writing project. Brian 404 produces and arranges.

Subjects is a portrait-as-song identity in development. No releases under the Subjects artist name yet. Earlier portraits appear on TTLive, released as Brian 200.

Each artist keeps its own world, audience and content lane. Distinct worlds stay distinct. Brian 404 OS is the secondary metaphor: the operating system the projects run on.

Credits and disclosure

AI involvement is disclosed per contribution, on every release. This is the current label policy everywhere it operates. A blanket “AI-generated” or “human-made” tag cannot replace precise credits.

• Writing and composition: identify who contributed the words and music, including AI involvement in either.
• Vocals and instrumentation: distinguish human performance from generated material.
• Production: identify creative direction, arrangement and other production contributions separately.
• Visuals: credit artwork and video contributions separately from the recording.

These are the requirements we apply to releases. Existing catalog credits are being reconciled against their source records. A policy statement is not a claim that every older release already has complete contribution-level documentation.

Published credits must be supported. We preserve existing credits while checking a discrepancy, and correct the affected pages and platform records when the evidence is confirmed.

Release operations

The distributor is selected and documented per release. Our current focus is DistroKid and SoundOn, with legacy LANDR releases kept on record separately. Release checklists, editorial pitching and playlist pitching follow the individual project.

We verify each fact at its authoritative source. Public availability is checked on the live service. Delivery status and distributor identity may require the distributor dashboard. Historical reports do not establish current status.

Rights and claims

Verify the recording, ISRC and claimant first. For claims confirmed as our own distributor’s, request release of the existing claim and appropriate allowlisting through support. Assess other claims individually before deciding whether to dispute.

Allowlisting future uploads and releasing an existing claim are separate actions. Confirm each outcome.
